Welcome to the Counselor’s Corner

We are Teresita Rodriguez and Melissa Mendoza, and we’re the proud counselors in our school.

Teresita Rodriguez is the Counselor for grades Pre-Kinder through 2nd grade.

Melissa Mendoza is the Counselor for grades 3^rd through 5^th grade.

	The Department of Family and Protective Services provides this secure website for reporting suspicions of abuse, neglect and exploitation of children, adults with disabilities, or people 65 years or older.
	We can all help prevent suicide. The Lifeline provides 24/7, free, and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals.
	Texas Suicide Prevention initiative is the result of a collaborative effort throughout the state of Texas of community-based organizations, state and local agencies, academic institutions, and many others who work together to reduce suicides in Texas.
	Border Region Behavioral Health Center is a non-profit, tax-exempt contract agency of the state of Texas that is governed by a nine-member board of trustees appointed by the county commissioner courts of Webb, Zapata, Jim Hogg, and Starr Counties.
	Region 16 Education Service Center: The Parent and Family Engagement Connection
	PILLAR is a non-profit Mental Health Organization and a License Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Facility whose goal is to reduce bullying, suicide incidents, substance abuse/use behaviors and increase access to services.
	SCAN provides children and adolescents with the opportunity to participate in a variety of evidence-based intervention programs that are designed to effectively intervene once problem behaviors have been identified.
